The Telico Gin | Hannah + Jacob

Hannah and Jacob wed on the last Saturday of September. The sun was shining, there was a light breeze, and the weather was absolutely perfect.

Both family and friends alike were invited to take part in celebrating this couple and their sweet love. They had planned in all kinds of personalized and pretty details to bring everyone into their rustic and elegant wedding day.

The bridesmaids were wearing beautiful metallic colors, the flower girls were in the fluffiest of dresses, and the groomsmen (and adorable ring bearer) were sporting deep blue suits. There was a touch of Hannah’s handiwork everywhere.

Hannah and Jacob are both school teachers. They met after they were introduced by their principal. There’s no denying that they are meant for each other. I was super blessed to capture their wedding day.

Romantic and Rainy Texas Wedding Day | Ciera+Rance

Ciera planned an amazing celebration for these two families as they came together. They rented a ranch house in the countryside of central Texas where they could share memories with their two families beyond the wedding ceremony itself. This intimate ceremony reminded me of what wedding ceremonies are truly about.

The weekend of the wedding, Texas was hit hard by Hurricane Harvey. Constant rain and wind were not an original part of Ciera’s plans for day, but we refused to let rain hinder our fun at all! The ranch house’s porch was just the right size for both the ceremony and the reception, so we were able to still celebrate outdoors without getting wet! Ciera’s decor for both the reception and ceremony was so romantic and green. I just loved her florals that were done by Platinum Petals Florals!

Ciera and Rance were up for some fun, so we headed out beyond the porch to take some photos with my favorite clear umbrellas.

The day was so sweet and drenched in love. I was so blessed to be a part of it.

Wedding at the Wildwood Inn | Kori + Daniel

Kori and Daniel shared one of the most joyful loves I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. Friends and family from both near and far came to witness this ceremony; it was beautiful to see the unity with the two families coming together. Their hospitality left all in attendance feeling incredibly cared for and thankful to be a part of this day.

Daniel grew up in England. His college studies brought him to the US and introduced him to the woman who is now his wife. The architecture and design of the Wildwood Inn served as the perfect venue to go along with the hints of European culture with Kori and Daniel’s day.

During the ceremony, the couple took soil from their childhood homes and used it to plant a tree. I loved this non-traditional symbol and to think about the fact that this tree will grow along with their marriage as they begin their life together.

I feel so honored to have been chosen as the one to capture this day, share in this couple’s love, and experience a taste of Europe in Denton TX.

Proposal on a Dallas Rooftop | Matt & Kaylee

Matt orchestrated the most beautiful proposal for his now fiancé, Kaylee.

Matt attempted to take Kaylee to this scenic spot in Downtown Dallas on his first date with Kaylee, but found the rooftop doors locked that day. Fast forward to today, and Matt used this breathtaking spot to ask the love of his life to be his forever.

As it was nearing sunset, Matt set up candle lights to set the mood and intensify the already beautiful surroundings. Friends and family helped him to set up the proposal location and remained close for a little rooftop party to celebrate after she said yes.

Kaylee thought she was going to a rooftop concert with two of her friends while Matt was hanging out with friends in Oklahoma. However, Kaylee was pleasantly surprised when she saw Matt standing in front of her atop the rooftop.

Kaylee was shocked and giddy as she saw her dreams come true right before her eyes.

Elegant August Wedding at NOAH’s Event Venue | Ashley + Ross

Ashley pieces together beautiful flower arrangements for brides all the time with her floral business The Rogue Rose, but this day, she was able to execute her talents and vision for her own wedding day.

Ashley and I first met via instagram when the two of us were closer to the beginning of our journey as creative business owners. We have paired up for a few projects and been able to support each other since the beginning. When she asked me to be the photographer for her wedding day, I was so excited. Of course, I knew that the floral arrangements would be incredible, but beyond that, I knew that Ashley would make the most beautiful bride and hold an exceptional wedding day celebration.

Ashley and Ross planned a sweet and special summer wedding that was all around gorgeous. The day was relaxed and really fun. The hot Texas summer sun could not put a damper on this special day.

The way that Ashley and Ross love and support one another is incredible. I feel so honored to capture this day that begins their married life together.

The Heights Baptist Church Wedding | Michelle & Derek

Michelle and Derek shared a sweet, bilingual ceremony. It was full of symbolism. The gospel was presented and two families became one. Observing the support and love that the guests and family shared for the newlyweds was a true spectacle.

The joy from the ceremony at the Heights Baptist Church continued into the energetic reception at Reflections on Spring Creek. Both Michelle and Derek included many family traditions as a part of the celebration.

Both Michelle and Derek are some of the sweetest people you could ever meet, and together, they share the biggest heart. This day was the beginning of their beautiful life together, and I was blessed to be able to capture it.

First Denton Wedding | Briley + Devin

Devin and Briley love so BIG. I do not know another way to explain it. The Lewis couple share a sweet love for the Lord and each other that overflows on to those around them. Being able to capture their wedding day was such a privilege and joy.

Devin and Briley wed at First Baptist Denton. This church played a large role in the development of their relationship, including sponsoring the mission trip where the two of them first met.

The two of them dedicated their entire wedding day and their marriage to the Lord. They outwardly expressed this by praying together (without seeing each other) before the ceremony and by inviting the congregation to join them in worship during their ceremony. Both of these moments were incredibly beautiful and humbling.

I am excited for the Lewis’s future together, and for the joy and love that they will share to those around them.

BRILEY’S FIRST LOOK WITH HER FATHER WAS SO SWEET.

THE BRIDE’S GIFT TO HER FATHER.

“L” IS FOR LEWIS.

THE BRIDE AND GROOM EXCHANGED GIFTS, LETTERS, AND PRAYED TOGETHER WITHOUT SEEING EACH OTHER BEFORE THE CEREMONY.

THIS FIRST DANCE WAS INCREDIBLY MEMORABLE.

The Milestone Mansion | Alex & Liam

The Kelly Wedding was beautiful down to every last detail. The traces of greenery and hints of rose made the day incredibly elegant, especially when paired with the magnificent Milestone Mansion.

Alex and Liam share an energetic and exciting love. Each guest came to take part in the special day, sharing in the worship centered ceremony, and dancing at the lively reception.

I am excited for the Kelly’s and the life adventures that they will embark on together. This day was a beautiful start to their lives together.

Pine Hill Estate | Keirsten & Ryan

I had so much fun traveling to Amarillo to shoot this sweet couple for my very first Destination Wedding!

The Gomez Wedding was an absolute PARTAY! Keirsten and her bridesmaids danced all day day long- from the very start of the day as they got ready at their adorable AirBnb, every time happy tears attempted filled their eyes when they were thinking about the future for the Gomez couple, and into the evening as they were joined by guests at the reception on the checkered dance floor.

Keirsten had a colorful and unique vision for her wedding day. Both she and Ryan are talented and creative. Their wedding was full of amazing details. There were touches of color in everything and OH, the florals were incredible. After seeing how the vision for their wedding day played out, I can only imagine what they will dream up for their future home and life together.

It was truly special to see Keirsten and Ryan’s friends and family gather around them in support and celebration as they tied the knot. These two have been dating since high school and both graduated college this spring. I could feel that everyone in attendance had been waiting in excitement alongside the couple for this day. The excitement was shown as the couple walked back down the aisle with a colorful confetti toss and into the reception as everyone danced under the hundreds of lights.

The Gomez’s gorgeous day will never be forgotten.

The couple took time during the ceremony to take communion and pray together.

Hidden Pines Chapel | Julie + Jordan

The Davis wedding was full of such joy, love, and laughter. I could not help but smile through these photos while I was taking them and throughout the entire editing process!

Julie and Jordan share a sweet love for each other. They are grounded in their faith and surrounded by such an encouraging and supportive community. Watching the bridal party support and enjoy the day with the Davis’s and listening to the toasts at the reception made this even more apparent.

I am genuinely excited to see where the Lord takes Jordan and Julie together.

I Corinthians 13 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails…..
