Jessica and Kris wed on an overcast winter day. The weather might have been cold and drizzly, but all who were in attendance had warm hearts as they watched these two lovebirds tie the knot.
The day was made all the more special by the team of family and friends who came together to help the day turn out as a success. The decorations and colors fit perfectly with the woodland winter theme. The reception’s live music was performed by long time family friends of the bride and groom, making it all the more heartfelt.
Jessica and Kris have such a precious love story. Their reception had photo albums with pictures of the two of them throughout the years at life’s big milestones, such as graduation and high school prom. It was special for me to see how pictures, even years later, can mean so much when there is a relationship story such as this.
These bridesmaid dresses were the perfect color for a winter wedding!
Jess & her dad have the sweetest relationship!
Let’s practice the first dance without falling in!
When you realize you just married your best friend…
Jess made such a beautiful bride- LOOK at that smile 🙂
If you’ve followed my work for a while, you have probably seen me post photos of or with one of these two beautiful women! Arlee and Elizabeth are both two of my best friends. I feel so blessed to be close to the both of them, and I love how God has used our friendship to bring us closer to Him and the pursuits of HIs calling on our lives.
These women have been there throughout the beginning and continued growth of my business and artistry. They modeled for me and believed in me when I hardly knew how to operate a camera, and they continue to support me through my growth today, including modeling for a spontaneous shoot, celebrating the upcoming Christmas season!
Christmas is a very exciting and beautiful season. In Texas, it is not until this time that the leaves on the trees finally begin to change color. Despite the chill in the air, it is a great time to shoot. I had the idea of throwing together a spontaneous shoot at this beautiful treed location we came across, and I’m so happy these two agreed to model for me once more.
The Moye Wedding was a literal dream. All of the details and hard work came together to make October 15th the greatest beginning for the marriage of James and Regan.
Regan and James are so loved and cherished by their friends and family. While the day was full of joy, emotions were also high. James is in the Airforce, and weeks after the two of them wed, they made the move from Texas to Alaska.
This was a special day that every family member and guest will remember; I was so blessed to capture it with photographs, so that these moments can live on…
Regan and her mother share a moment…
One of the most beautiful prayers over Regan and James as they begin this journey…
Regan’s first look with her father.
Mr. Moye passed down his watch to his son.
The moment you realize that you just got married…
Minutes after they said their I do’s, we waited for the next part of the day in the bridal suite.
The Walton’s had a special idea to celebrate their first year of marriage. One time was not enough for these two to wear their beautiful wedding attire. To commemorate their successful first year of marriage, Kristin and Ian suited up and relived their 2015 Fall Wedding.
The fall season and changing leaf colors inspired the jewel toned color scheme for the shoot. Ashley at The Rogue Rose created beautiful floral arrangements. She is truly gifted with arranging colors, florals, and foliage.
Sheri at Sweet Ricreations designed the elegant four tiered cake. Her design skills and detail are incredible. The cake was adorned with hand crafted and edible flowers. They matched the floral arrangements perfectly!
I could not have been happier with the amazing work of both the vendors! They are the sweetest and most gifted individuals.
I had so much fun photographing the Walton’s anniversary session. They danced, they laughed, they kissed, they celebrated. This shoot was a nice reminder that the wedding is just a beginning of a wonderful life together. Happy one year anniversary to these two <3
The Fitzgeralds wed on the first of October. It was a sunny afternoon with beautiful Texas Fall weather. The day was beautifully styled. The bridesmaids sparkling gold dresses, touches of powder pink, and the green foliage created a well crafted color palette.
The ceremony was intimate and elegant- a backyard wedding executed incredibly well. Friends and family gathered on the Fitzgerald property to show support and love for two of them. Just as Kenzie was making her walk from the bridal suite to the aisle, she was met with a surprise that made an incredible addition to her day! A horse drawn carriage approached, with her father and an open velvet seat. Kenzie was escorted to the front of the aisle by a beautiful black horse and white carriage.
The bride, groom, and guests were all surprised. The families of the bride and groom had kept this a secret until the moment before the horse met Kenzie to escort her to the aisle.
After the two officially tied the knot, they rode off on the same carriage, this time as Mr. and Mrs. Fitzgerald.
Erin and Mark wed on the first Saturday of Autumn, a gorgeous September day. We started getting ready in Flying V Ranch’s bridal suite- a quaint white cabin with beautiful natural lighting. After preparations, both Erin and Mark were anxious and excited to see each other for their first look. Mark’s reaction was priceless. It was a special moment for the two of them to share before seeing each other at the ceremony.
There ceremony included a beautiful live rendition of the song “Hallelujah.” All of the elements and details combined- the handwritten vows, the chemistry, the music, the breeze, the dreamy white dress, the rose and gold palette- created such an atmosphere of love. There was hardly a dry eye in the audience.
The rest of the evening was a P-A-R-T-Y. The guests enjoyed showing off on the dance floor, eating cake, and participating in all of the wedding festivities.
The 23rd of September was truly a day to remember.
Emily and Adam Tarver wed on July 8th, 2016. Emily styled her day beautifully. The rustic elegance was enhanced by the tulle, purple tones, babies breath, golden lights, and bright yellow sunflowers.
This couple radiated joy. Emily was a beautiful bride- so full of life and laughter- showing off her beautiful smile all throughout the day. Adam and his groomsmen were goofy and fun, while also serious about celebrating the wonderful marriage commitment that was made on this day.
It was a joy for me to capture this special celebration. Guests of all ages joined in on the fun at the reception and sparkler send off.
June 18th was a joyful celebration for the marriage of Maddie and John Owens. The crowd was very excited for the two lovebirds, making the wedding and reception all the more fun and full of laughter.
Yellow and grey were the colors Maddie used to decorate her big day. The bright yellow peonies and roses added a definite pop of color, perfect for a summertime wedding.
Harmony Wedding Chapel in Aubrey, TX housed this special occasion. The natural light lit chapel provided the perfect natural light for the ceremony and the reception hall was great for the dance party following the Owens’ vows.
