The week leading up to the White’s wedding was full of rainy days and grey skies. The forecast for the day was not looking great as it was raining when we pulled up to begin getting ready at the White Sparrow on the morning of the wedding. However, before we knew it, the sun began to peek out of the clouds and we were blessed with some gorgeous sun and warm weather on a sweet February Saturday.
The White Sparrow was the perfect venue for the White’s to tie the knot and begin their married life together. It was so special to see everyone gather to celebrate Jordan and Michael’s love.
The amazing vendor team that helped make this day possible:
Ashley and Nick had one of the most beautiful wedding days. They wed on a graceful November Saturday. The day was breezy, but the temperature was perfect for their country club outdoor ceremony.
Everyone had been waiting in anticipation for this day for quite some time. It was so sweet to see how much both Ashley and Nick’s family and friends truly appreciate and love them. There were several moments with happy, teary eyes, but those only added to the specialness of the day.
Diana and Tony share a sweet love. It was so special to watch and capture the moments as they got ready for their first look until they were dancing their hearts out and celebrating with their beloved family and friends.
Their details and decor were beautifully stylized. Both Diana and Tony have an eye for fashion, and on this day, they were both sporting some beautiful Christian Louboutin shoes.
During the ceremony, the lovely couple exchanged heart-felt handwritten vows. The personalized touch brought the congregation into better understanding the special commitment the two of them were making on this day.
The reception at 1010 Collins in Arlington was such a party!!! There was so much energy, dancing, confetti popping, and fun. I loved the two large flat heads they had of the bride and groom.
The vendor dream team:
Catering: Andy’s Catering
Cinematography: So1Media (These guys were so great!!!)
Sawyer and Nick shared their wedding day with the sweetest group of family and friends. You know that you have a great group of guests when they cry happy tears during the ceremony and dance up a storm during the reception.
The barn and outdoor ceremony space at Whispering Oaks Wedding Venue fit the Wallace’s rustic and elegant wedding style perfectly.
Hannah and Jacob wed on the last Saturday of September. The sun was shining, there was a light breeze, and the weather was absolutely perfect.
Both family and friends alike were invited to take part in celebrating this couple and their sweet love. They had planned in all kinds of personalized and pretty details to bring everyone into their rustic and elegant wedding day.
The bridesmaids were wearing beautiful metallic colors, the flower girls were in the fluffiest of dresses, and the groomsmen (and adorable ring bearer) were sporting deep blue suits. There was a touch of Hannah’s handiwork everywhere.
Hannah and Jacob are both school teachers. They met after they were introduced by their principal. There’s no denying that they are meant for each other. I was super blessed to capture their wedding day.
Ciera planned an amazing celebration for these two families as they came together. They rented a ranch house in the countryside of central Texas where they could share memories with their two families beyond the wedding ceremony itself. This intimate ceremony reminded me of what wedding ceremonies are truly about.
The weekend of the wedding, Texas was hit hard by Hurricane Harvey. Constant rain and wind were not an original part of Ciera’s plans for day, but we refused to let rain hinder our fun at all! The ranch house’s porch was just the right size for both the ceremony and the reception, so we were able to still celebrate outdoors without getting wet! Ciera’s decor for both the reception and ceremony was so romantic and green. I just loved her florals that were done by Platinum Petals Florals!
Ciera and Rance were up for some fun, so we headed out beyond the porch to take some photos with my favorite clear umbrellas.
The day was so sweet and drenched in love. I was so blessed to be a part of it.
Kori and Daniel shared one of the most joyful loves I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. Friends and family from both near and far came to witness this ceremony; it was beautiful to see the unity with the two families coming together. Their hospitality left all in attendance feeling incredibly cared for and thankful to be a part of this day.
Daniel grew up in England. His college studies brought him to the US and introduced him to the woman who is now his wife. The architecture and design of the Wildwood Inn served as the perfect venue to go along with the hints of European culture with Kori and Daniel’s day.
During the ceremony, the couple took soil from their childhood homes and used it to plant a tree. I loved this non-traditional symbol and to think about the fact that this tree will grow along with their marriage as they begin their life together.
I feel so honored to have been chosen as the one to capture this day, share in this couple’s love, and experience a taste of Europe in Denton TX.
Matt orchestrated the most beautiful proposal for his now fiancé, Kaylee.
Matt attempted to take Kaylee to this scenic spot in Downtown Dallas on his first date with Kaylee, but found the rooftop doors locked that day. Fast forward to today, and Matt used this breathtaking spot to ask the love of his life to be his forever.
As it was nearing sunset, Matt set up candle lights to set the mood and intensify the already beautiful surroundings. Friends and family helped him to set up the proposal location and remained close for a little rooftop party to celebrate after she said yes.
Kaylee thought she was going to a rooftop concert with two of her friends while Matt was hanging out with friends in Oklahoma. However, Kaylee was pleasantly surprised when she saw Matt standing in front of her atop the rooftop.
Kaylee was shocked and giddy as she saw her dreams come true right before her eyes.
Ashley pieces together beautiful flower arrangements for brides all the time with her floral business The Rogue Rose, but this day, she was able to execute her talents and vision for her own wedding day.
Ashley and I first met via instagram when the two of us were closer to the beginning of our journey as creative business owners. We have paired up for a few projects and been able to support each other since the beginning. When she asked me to be the photographer for her wedding day, I was so excited. Of course, I knew that the floral arrangements would be incredible, but beyond that, I knew that Ashley would make the most beautiful bride and hold an exceptional wedding day celebration.
Ashley and Ross planned a sweet and special summer wedding that was all around gorgeous. The day was relaxed and really fun. The hot Texas summer sun could not put a damper on this special day.
The way that Ashley and Ross love and support one another is incredible. I feel so honored to capture this day that begins their married life together.
