White Sparrow Wedding | Jordan + Michael

The week leading up to the White’s wedding was full of rainy days and grey skies. The forecast for the day was not looking great as it was raining when we pulled up to begin getting ready at the White Sparrow on the morning of the wedding. However, before we knew it, the sun began to peek out of the clouds and we were blessed with some gorgeous sun and warm weather on a sweet February Saturday.

The White Sparrow was the perfect venue for the White’s to tie the knot and begin their married life together. It was so special to see everyone gather to celebrate Jordan and Michael’s love.

Stonebridge Ranch Country Club Wedding | Ashley & Nick

Ashley and Nick had one of the most beautiful wedding days. They wed on a graceful November Saturday. The day was breezy, but the temperature was perfect for their country club outdoor ceremony.

Everyone had been waiting in anticipation for this day for quite some time. It was so sweet to see how much both Ashley and Nick’s family and friends truly appreciate and love them. There were several moments with happy, teary eyes, but those only added to the specialness of the day.

1010 Collins Wedding | Diana and Tony

Diana and Tony share a sweet love. It was so special to watch and capture the moments as they got ready for their first look until they were dancing their hearts out and celebrating with their beloved family and friends.

Their details and decor were beautifully stylized. Both Diana and Tony have an eye for fashion, and on this day, they were both sporting some beautiful Christian Louboutin shoes.

During the ceremony, the lovely couple exchanged heart-felt handwritten vows. The personalized touch brought the congregation into better understanding the special commitment the two of them were making on this day.

The reception at 1010 Collins in Arlington was such a party!!! There was so much energy, dancing, confetti popping, and fun. I loved the two large flat heads they had of the bride and groom.

Coram Deo Senior | Macy Class of 2018

I’ve been looking forward to Macy’s senior session since she contacted me last spring! I could tell from our first conversations that Macy was a special girl, full of joy and excitement for life! When I met her in person for our shoot, she was even more sweet and beautiful than I could have imagined!

We had a lot of fun shooting with Cash, Macy’s gorgeous horse. He has been a big part of her life, and she wanted to include him in her senior pictures. The autumn scenery around her property and the golden hour sunlight were just perfect.

Macy used my favorite hair and make up artist Amy with Beloved Beauty by Amy! I always love the looks she creates for my brides and seniors! She enhances their natural beauty with make up, and it photographs so well!

Macy has a heart for special needs children. I am so excited to see where the Lord and her passion and hard work take her! The future for Macy is big and bright!

PLANS AFTER GRADUATION? “Go to college and study special needs education!”

MY DREAM JOB IS… “Living overseas and teaching people how to care for and accept people with special needs.”

THE PERFECT DAY FOR ME WOULD BE LIKE… “Spending time with my best friends”

BIGGEST PET PEEVE? “When people try to share my dessert!”

GREATEST RECENT PURCHASE? “The sushi dinner I ate last night!”

Dallas Arboretum Engagement | Bracie and Elliot

It might have been below freezing during this shoot, but you would never guess that these two were cold by how happy and beautiful they look in these photos! Bracie and Elliot share a sweet love. Together, they make many memories, share many laughs, and inspire each other to try new things.

Whispering Oaks Wedding | Sawyer + Nick

Sawyer and Nick shared their wedding day with the sweetest group of family and friends. You know that you have a great group of guests when they cry happy tears during the ceremony and dance up a storm during the reception.

The barn and outdoor ceremony space at Whispering Oaks Wedding Venue fit the Wallace’s rustic and elegant wedding style perfectly.

North Texas Engagement Photographer | Marisa and Cameron

Marisa and Cameron met at Texas Tech University a few years back. These two sweethearts have since graduated and moved on to pursuing their professional careers and chasing their dreams. Their next step includes getting married and beginning their married lives together, supporting each other side by side through the thick and thin.

In Lubbock, the two of them developed a love for two-stepping. Marisa wore the most beautiful and flowy dresses to our shoot. We could not let their love for dance and Marisa’s flowy dress go unphotographed, so we had some fun.

I am looking forward to their wedding this summer and dancing once more. However, this next time, Marisa will be wearing a white dress!

Lost Oak Winery Wedding | Mariko and Trevor

Mariko and Trevor’s fall vineyard wedding was all around swoon-worthy. They wed on a sunny Saturday in October.

Lost Oak Winery served as a great venue. Mariko’s Autumn decor and florals mixed nicely with the green vines and shady tall trees.

Mariko and Trevor have been together for years. Their family and friends (and their adorable husky) were overjoyed to be present for this day that they had been looking forward to for quite some time.

The Telico Gin | Hannah + Jacob

Hannah and Jacob wed on the last Saturday of September. The sun was shining, there was a light breeze, and the weather was absolutely perfect.

Both family and friends alike were invited to take part in celebrating this couple and their sweet love. They had planned in all kinds of personalized and pretty details to bring everyone into their rustic and elegant wedding day.

The bridesmaids were wearing beautiful metallic colors, the flower girls were in the fluffiest of dresses, and the groomsmen (and adorable ring bearer) were sporting deep blue suits. There was a touch of Hannah’s handiwork everywhere.

Hannah and Jacob are both school teachers. They met after they were introduced by their principal. There’s no denying that they are meant for each other. I was super blessed to capture their wedding day.

Romantic and Rainy Texas Wedding Day | Ciera+Rance

Ciera planned an amazing celebration for these two families as they came together. They rented a ranch house in the countryside of central Texas where they could share memories with their two families beyond the wedding ceremony itself. This intimate ceremony reminded me of what wedding ceremonies are truly about.

The weekend of the wedding, Texas was hit hard by Hurricane Harvey. Constant rain and wind were not an original part of Ciera’s plans for day, but we refused to let rain hinder our fun at all! The ranch house’s porch was just the right size for both the ceremony and the reception, so we were able to still celebrate outdoors without getting wet! Ciera’s decor for both the reception and ceremony was so romantic and green. I just loved her florals that were done by Platinum Petals Florals!

Ciera and Rance were up for some fun, so we headed out beyond the porch to take some photos with my favorite clear umbrellas.

The day was so sweet and drenched in love. I was so blessed to be a part of it.
