Devin and Briley love so BIG. I do not know another way to explain it. The Lewis couple share a sweet love for the Lord and each other that overflows on to those around them. Being able to capture their wedding day was such a privilege and joy.
Devin and Briley wed at First Baptist Denton. This church played a large role in the development of their relationship, including sponsoring the mission trip where the two of them first met.
The two of them dedicated their entire wedding day and their marriage to the Lord. They outwardly expressed this by praying together (without seeing each other) before the ceremony and by inviting the congregation to join them in worship during their ceremony. Both of these moments were incredibly beautiful and humbling.
I am excited for the Lewis’s future together, and for the joy and love that they will share to those around them.
BRILEY’S FIRST LOOK WITH HER FATHER WAS SO SWEET.
THE BRIDE’S GIFT TO HER FATHER.
“L” IS FOR LEWIS.
THE BRIDE AND GROOM EXCHANGED GIFTS, LETTERS, AND PRAYED TOGETHER WITHOUT SEEING EACH OTHER BEFORE THE CEREMONY.
I had so much fun traveling to Amarillo to shoot this sweet couple for my very first Destination Wedding!
The Gomez Wedding was an absolute PARTAY! Keirsten and her bridesmaids danced all day day long- from the very start of the day as they got ready at their adorable AirBnb, every time happy tears attempted filled their eyes when they were thinking about the future for the Gomez couple, and into the evening as they were joined by guests at the reception on the checkered dance floor.
Keirsten had a colorful and unique vision for her wedding day. Both she and Ryan are talented and creative. Their wedding was full of amazing details. There were touches of color in everything and OH, the florals were incredible. After seeing how the vision for their wedding day played out, I can only imagine what they will dream up for their future home and life together.
It was truly special to see Keirsten and Ryan’s friends and family gather around them in support and celebration as they tied the knot. These two have been dating since high school and both graduated college this spring. I could feel that everyone in attendance had been waiting in excitement alongside the couple for this day. The excitement was shown as the couple walked back down the aisle with a colorful confetti toss and into the reception as everyone danced under the hundreds of lights.
The Gomez’s gorgeous day will never be forgotten.
The couple took time during the ceremony to take communion and pray together.
The Davis wedding was full of such joy, love, and laughter. I could not help but smile through these photos while I was taking them and throughout the entire editing process!
Julie and Jordan share a sweet love for each other. They are grounded in their faith and surrounded by such an encouraging and supportive community. Watching the bridal party support and enjoy the day with the Davis’s and listening to the toasts at the reception made this even more apparent.
I am genuinely excited to see where the Lord takes Jordan and Julie together.
I Corinthians 13 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails…..
Daniele and Clay had the most beautiful of wedding days. The way that the two of them love the Lord, each other, and their family is incredibly inspirational.
Emotions were high throughout the day as everyone watched the Van Winkle’s pledge to be each others forever. It appeared that the guests and bridal party were almost equally as excited to be present for the special occasion.
I love the way that both Daniele and Clay pursue one another. The two of them intentionally surprise one another with thoughtful gifts and actions. Their proposal story included a detailed scavenger hunt throughout Dallas, and they both had planned surprises for one another on their wedding day. Clay had arranged a scavenger hunt for Daniele on the morning of their wedding day. Daniele planned an epic Star Wars exit as they left the reception that she and the bridal party successfully kept a surprise for the groom.
Here are a few favorite photos that show their joy filled smiles and happy tears that accompanied the Van Winkles special day:
YOU’RE ABOUT TO SEE WHAT IS QUITE POSSIBLY THE CUTEST FIRST LOOK OF ALL TIME.
HERE COMES THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE.
THE BRIDE ARRANGED A SURPRISE STAR WARS EXIT FOR THE GROOM AND HIS REACTION WAS PRICELESS.
Kami and Kevin’s wedding day was beautiful in all areas, from the reception space in the Warwick hotel’s ballroom to the sparkles on the bride’s shoes. Joy filled the hearts of everyone in attendance as they were surrounded by this beauty and sweet love.
The Barnes’ tied the knot at their home church, Highland Park United Methodist Church. This ceremony was incredibly heartfelt and will be one that guests will continue to remember in years to come. After saying “I do,” Kami and Kevin’s first act as a married couple was to take communion together. Following their communion, they personally extended the opportunity to everyone in the audience to join with them.
The reception was full of energy as the dance floor was never empty! Kami and Kevin have great friends who love to dance, adding to the day’s celebration. We finished the evening with an elevator exit. This is a tradition of the Warwick Hotel, and it was so much fun to see it executed. The guests made a line from the ballroom to the elevator and we cheered as we said goodbye to the Barnes couple!
The Stuck Wedding was full of love and celebration. Ryan and Kendall created a night that no guest will ever forget. The Orchard served as the perfect backdrop for their special day. Its the perfect mixture of rustic and greenery to fit any Texas Wedding.
Ryan and Kendall met in college. The way that they make each other smile after years together is unforgettable. I was so excited to be able to capture this happiness in photographs, and I’m excited for their future together as a married couple #Stuckinlove (isn’t that the cutest wedding hashtag or what?).
Following the ceremony was an incredible reception and dance party. They had a large screen on the dance floor that the DJ used to add another element to the reception. We finished the night with a balloon send off. It was my first time to see this as a wedding send off! The Stucks left their incredible wedding day while hundreds of white balloons flooded the dark summer sky.
Kendall’s first look with her dad was so sweet!
This group of girls was so much fun!
A gift and note exchange before he could see his bride walking down the aisle!
June 2nd 2017 was a celebration of the love shared between Abbey and Mason. Surrounded by their friends and family, the LaTours vowed to love each other for life in the most beautiful, Christ centered ceremony.
The day was full of emotions. The bridal party enjoyed each other’s company and stood in full support and love for the couple. Rain was not in the plan for the June wedding, but it added to the memory of the day and stood as a reminder of all of the blessings that are to come for the LaTours marriage. I am so thankful for the ushers and groomsmen who helped us out with umbrellas, so we could still capture some amazing photos of the couple!
During the ceremony, the congregation joined together to sing Amazing Grace. Adding this act of worship into the wedding ceremony was a great reminder to the congregation of how loved we are by our Savior and of the love that Abbey and Mason want their marriage to represent.
I was so blessed to have the honor of capturing the LaTours wedding day. Here’s a few of my favorite photos to paint a picture of their day:
Her dress looked so elegant in the chapel at Rustic Grace Estates.
The entire day was full of so much joy and laughter!
First looks with dad are my favorite!
Mason’s groomsmen prayed for him before his first look with his future bride.
These high school sweethearts had been dreaming of this moment for years and now there’s a photo to commemorate it…
These cookies were almost too pretty to eat!
They were such a fun group!
This is just the beginning of their married life together… THE BEST IS YET TO COME.
Mr. and Mrs. Burne had an all around incredible wedding day. Family and friends traveled from near and far to be present for this special occasion.
They began their day getting ready at the Fairmont Hotel in Uptown Dallas. The two of them looked incredible, easily magazine worthy. Both Tamara and Scott were excited for their first look which took place on the rooftop gardens of the hotel. We were surrounded by Dallas’s towering skyscrapers as the future man and wife saw each other in their wedding attire for the first time.
The day continued on at the Texas Discovery Gardens at Fair Park. This venue made a spectacular backdrop for their wedding ceremony and reception. Upon arrival, guests could make their way around the garden’s grounds while enjoying a drink and live music before taking a seat at the ceremony site.
The gardens were full of color. The greenery meshed well with the colorful rose hues of the bridal party. This venue included a butterfly garden, creating a unique and even more memorable experience. Following the ceremony, I got to have some fun exploring the garden and searching for butterflies with the bride and groom. Later in the evening, they opened the garden up for all of the guests to explore and find real butterflies
The evening continued with a Texas themed cocktail hour, a tasty reception dinner, dancing, and many special moments that were shared between the bride and groom with their family and friends.

Bailey’s senior shoot was a unique and fun one! Bailey loves animals, so much so, that she plans to study to become a veterinarian! To incorporate her love for animals in her session, she brought along her sweet pup and her hedgehog! Getting animals to look at the camera is not the easiest, but we managed to still capture their adorable-ness and have fun while doing so!
Bailey has beautiful crystal blue eyes. The sunshine and light breeze made for a lovely day and added a pop of color to the nature scenery. Here are a few favorites from our shoot!
